All at once
Everything is picking up again, while I've been relatively relaxed for the past several weeks, now I've got a constant stream of uni essays, reports and assignments due, combined with some contract development work. I finished a 25 page assignment last night for Project Management, which was far too long for the marks it was worth. I've got to write one on "the impact of Multinational Enterprises on the growth and development of international business, and their influence on the wellbeing of counties" this weekend which shouldn't be too bad, although it's due Monday. That leaves two more assignments due in April. What a month, this explains the 0% exercise and 0% social scores.
Still semi-seriously considering a Concorde flight, but it's a lot of money. However weighed against a once-in-a-lifetime experience to fly at Mach 2 in one the most beautiful commercial airliners ever built. Tough one, few more days to decide I guess. For that money I could do my Strikemaster flight at Bankstown, go on a Qantas Antartic flight, and do several other flying adventures. Versus 3 hours in the Concorde. Hmmm.
Last week during my attempts to do uni assignments, I upgraded my main workstation to a Athlon XP 2400+ with 1GB RAM, I'm not noticing any vast speed improvements. With my old Athlon XP 2000+ and 512MB RAM, a new 120GB drive, and a second matching Lian Li PC-60 brushed aluminium case I built a dedicated Red Hat 9 workstation/server. I've got all four of my PCs hooked up to a nice Aten KVM switch and I'm forcing myself to use Linux as much as possible by having it on my main monitor. Amazing I have just over 500GB of hard disk storage on my home network now, 10 years or so ago that much storage would have cost approximately AUD$1 million.
