Plans for next couple of months...

I've scheduled a full two months of 7 day weeks consisting of work and study which should be ..err fun. Uni exams run from 11th June to 26th June, and I've also got three more essays to knock over. Post 26th June will be interesting.. more details when we arrive at a decision about what to do travel wise this year. China is looking less appealing at the moment unfortunately.

To those following the laptop decision (hesitation), I've stuck with T40 after having a fairly good look at the 1400x1050 market, there was little on offer other than the Sony Z1 in the 1-inch/2kg form factor SXGA screen segment. I'm getting mixed information from IBM though, one order hotline guy says four weeks wait on my order, and another the day after says I should get it this week! I've been billed, so hopefully that means it's on the way.

Saw X-Men 2, it was quite good actually. Some film critics have been saying the premise/plot was weak, but obviously these bottom feeders have never picked up a comic book, otherwise they'd realise the whole story was precisely what you'd see in your typical X-Men comic strip. Anyway, good effects, nice flow, definitely one for the DVD collection. Looking around the cinema at the anticipation in peoples faces prior to the movie starting really shows how desperate people are for a decent flick. We've been served up some much crap over the past 6 months that I'm sure many movie goers are losing faith in the silver screen to deliver a good movie experience, particularly in the sci-fi genre.

Some other slightly more interesting things to post about, but too tired.. more later.
