Australia Day long weekend

Logged Tuesday, 29th January 2002 - Daily - Perma-Link - Comments (0)
I had a reasonable weekend, watched Amelie which was excellent, and Ocean's Eleven which was good. Watched four fireworks displays over the harbour, took a ferry ride to Watson's Bay, saw a flyover of four FA18's in close formation over of the harbour bridge, and later a C130J drop off several army parachutests and then do a low-level flyover of the bridge. Ate Japanese, Thai and modern Australian, and just basically relaxed. I didn't end up going to Melbourne or going to the BDO. Seeing The Chemical Brothers at the Horden Pavilion tonight which should be interesting, as I've yet to hear any of the songs from their new album. CORRECTION: I'm seeing Jamiroquai tonight at the Horden, the Chemical Brothers are playing in March. Where would I be without my girlfriend to keep me organised?
